Geospock’s first offering is for location data: enabling clients to run real-time (sub-second) queries of their location data no matter how large the database gets or how quickly it is updated.
GeoSpock achieves this by using a customised encoding mechanism and database architecture to store nearby location objects together in the system’s memory to enable fast, efficient access. It also allows many users to use the database at the same time. Further, GeoSpock is built on top of Amazon Web Services to take advantage of that platform’s fast, dynamic scaling.
Deployment of GeoSpock's data indexing solution opens up new opportunities to bring first-in-class location-based products and services to market. This includes real-time data analytics performed on live and archived historical data.
GeoSpock's approach is optimized to give up-to-the-second knowledge of what is and has been near any given location. At large size and with dynamically changing data it can handle database queries 15x faster than existing NoSQL database solutions. The internal benchmarking has proven the service can handle at least 5,000 requests per second with no degradation of performance.
GeoSpock's infin8(tm) data indexing engine runs entirely within a customer's environment, meaning there's no security overhead and no additional GDPR compliance issues.
GeoSpock’s initial focus on the mapping and logistics sectors positions it well to provide solutions for online advertising, telcos, mobility (telematics, fleet management, etc.), smart cities and financial services.
Beyond location, GeoSpock is committed to bring the same speed, scalability, and simplicity advantages to applications including weather modelling, facial recognition, voice recognition, and DNA sequencing for healthcare.
GeoSpock is the future of big data management.
